| Lorenzo da Firenze (better known as Lauretius de Florentia, ? among 1372 and 1373): he is considered as the great predecessor of Francesco Landini. He belongs to the intermediate age of Ars Nova; he was priest at the San Lorenzo church in Florence, in which it is supposed he was music teacher of Landini. We are left with 15 works by him.
