| Louis Glass is one of the most important Danish composers of the late romantic period. He was a contemporary of Carl Nielsen, but there is a certain opposition between their musical styles due to the influence on Glass of Cèsar Franck and Anton Bruckner.Besides Louis Glass was an outstanding pianist and teacher.
