| Born Lausanne, 6 March 1763; died Paris, 9 Nov 1829, French clarinettist and composer. A player in Paris and teacher at the Conservatoire, he wrote orchestral and chamber works (most with clarinet), vocal pieces and a clarinet tutor (1802).
