Niccolò da Perugia Life

Niccolò da Perugia (Florence, late 14th century) was an Italian composer.

His works include settings of the Florentine poet Sacchetti and point to musical activities in Florence.

His two-voice madrigals and caccias reveal Jacopo da Bologna's influence.

He also cultivated the ballate with a one-line ripresa and with the moralizing content favoured in Florentine circles.
